Bulls & Broncs returns to W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Two of the most action-packed events in rodeo will be on display this weekend at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls.

It’s the calm before the storm inside the Expo Building, home to Bulls & Broncs.

“Not too many times that you can go and see 25 bronco riders in one spot in one night and 30 bull riders,” Sioux Empire Fair Association Vice Chairman Dan Pirrung said. “Guys from North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, most of South Dakota, a few guys from down in Nebraska,” Pirrung added.

Dauby’s and Dakota Sports now under the same ownership

The Sioux Empire Fair Association organizes the two-day event. Vice Chairman Dan Pirrung says the lineup features quantity and quality.

“Pretty fortunate there’s a PRCA Rodeo in Sioux City, so we’re sharing those guys back and forth the next couple nights and we’ve got a great lineup of guys for tonight, and ready to kick the dust out of the rafters,” Pirrung said.
