19-year-old strangles store clerk, arrested for robbery

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – A Sioux Falls man has been arrested after strangling a convenience store clerk and hitting another with a bottle. On Monday morning around 4 a.m. at a convenience store on the 2500 block of West Russell Street, a man who had been to the same convenience store just a few hours earlier and had shoplifted, according to a clerk, returned to the store and reached over a shelf to grab multiple bottles of alcohol and attempted to leave.
