Former Sioux Falls PTA president charged with embezzlement

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – A former president of the Sioux Falls PTA stands accused of using more than $1,000 of the organization’s money for her own use. According to court papers, 41-year-old Tiffaniee Cope of Sioux Falls was once the president of the Sioux Falls PTA, an organization that no longer exists because of embezzlement. Court documents state that according to the state PTA secretary, at one point the Sioux Falls PTA’s account contained $3,101.50. That dropped to $3.54.
