SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — Rain has been building into KELOLAND through last night and into this morning, and it’ll linger through much of the day.
While the day won’t feature wall-to-wall rain across the area, scattered showers will be likely through much of the day. With that said, I do expect some breaks in the rain from time to time. These breaks will vary in terms of how long they last, but they’re there all the same.
Rain totals aren’t expected to be all that impressive as we head into the night. In general, we’re looking at a tenth to a quarter of an inch of rain in many locations.
Sunday is a mainly dry day for much of the region ahead of a cold front that will sweep through KELOLAND. Though the boundary is dry, it’ll kick temperatures back a little bit as we head into Veterans Day. At least we stay dry, so outdoor ceremonies should be good to go.
Our next chance for rain arrives by the middle of the week, with showers possible overnight Tuesday into Wednesday morning. After that, we remain mainly dry through the rest of the week and into the weekend as well.
