SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — Beyond the breeze today, it has been a rather nice day to be out and about across KELOLAND with plentiful amounts of sunshine and well above average temperatures…especially to the east and southeast.
Sunday picks up where Saturday is expected to leave off, as sunny skies prevail with above average temperatures holding steady for a little while longer. Monday starts off quietly enough, but conditions are expected to unravel as we head later into the day.
Low pressure to our south will track northward as we head later into the evening and overnight on Monday. Rain chances are more likely to the east and southeast as we go into the night, with lesser chances the farther west you go.
Odds for a good, soaking rain are higher east of the Missouri River valley, where a half-inch or more of rain is likely. We’ll keep an eye on this system for a few other reasons, including some lingering rain on Tuesday in a few areas that leads to something else not too long after.
