Heavy, Wet Snow on Northern Side of Severe Weather

NORTHERN U.S.Winter weather alerts are expanding across portions of North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Minnesota as an upper-level low brings severe weather on the “warm side” and snowy and blizzard-like weather on the “cold side”.

Heavy snow, upwards of 6-12″, is likely in these areas, but what could be the biggest hazard is the wind. Winds may gust up to 35 mph. Blizzard conditions could be an issue, so make plans to avoid travel if at all possible.
