SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — We are learning more about the man involved in two officer-involved shootings.
Samir Albaidhani, 25, is accused of shooting an officer in Sioux Falls, taking off in a stolen SUV, heading south on the interstate and then shooting at another member of law enforcement.
Diesel spill impacting I-29 near Brookings
Court documents say he hadn’t been out of prison long. Albaidahani was released on parole at the end of October and was listed as a parole absconder.
He’d been serving time for burglary and grand theft in Minnehaha County. According to court documents, he has a history of stealing guns. We are digging into his criminal history and will have a full report later Wednesday on KELOLAND News…
