SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – On Friday, some students from South Dakota had a front-row seat to a lesson about the importance of helping others.
About a dozen students from the Saint Joseph Indian School in Chamberlain traveled to Sioux Falls to hand out food at the Faith Temple Church food giveaway at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.
“It’s good for younger people to know there’s a lot of people struggling for food. And to come out here and they actually have hands-on experience with people who are hungry, and they see people are glad to get food, possibly they don’t have any food at home but here they get a box of food,” said Pastor Jeff Hayes from the Faith Temple Church…
