SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls authorities say stolen car numbers are down in the city but are still warning of the everyday threat. Reports have been on the decline the last two years. However, police say a suspect broke into two apartments this past Sunday, stealing cash and two cars. One car was recovered, but the other is still missing. Officials note that 80 percent or more of cars stolen in Sioux Falls are left unlocked with the keys inside.
