Over 100 Days Later, South Dakota Dog Finds Loving New Home

Someone in Minnesota, Iowa, or South Dakota just adopted one of the sweetest four-legged friends around.

Pearl is a 5-year-old German Sheppard/Greyhound mix who was waiting for her “furever” home at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society for over 100 days.

Pearl has been under the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society’s care for almost 120 days. That’s way too long for anyone to wait for a second chance. Thankfully, her previous page on the Humane Society’s website confirms she was adopted.

Pearl did not have it easy. Staff at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society couldn’t figure out why she kept getting overlooked. Peal’s a “gentle nature” and has a “calm demeanor.”…
