Trash from fireworks left behind near Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Many are still coming down from the rush of lighting off fireworks during this holiday weekend, but it appears some people who had Independence Day fun did not clean up after themselves.

Daylight revealed some spots in the Sioux Falls area where people left behind their trash from fireworks. One of them was at a road closure near the intersection of West Madison Street and LaMesa Drive just to the northwest of town.

You could see cardboard and other garbage on the road and in the grass.
