West Nile Virus detected in South Dakota

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- The West Nile Virus has been detected in mosquito populations in three South Dakota counties(Brown County one of them), but so far, there aren’t any human infections being reported.

Sioux Falls Public Health Director Joe Kippley says city crews have found the virus in mosquito swarms in the city.

West Nile has been found in mosquito swarms in Brown, Minnehaha and Lincoln counties…
