SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Multiple Sioux Falls Police Department officers fired at a wanted suspect in central Sioux Falls near 10th Street and South Garfield Avenue Monday night.
Authorities search for endangered missing person
According to police, multiple officers were involved in a shooting at 5:42 p.m. Monday while attempting to serve an arrest warrant on a suspect that was wanted on multiple counts in Minnehaha County, including burglary, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful ingestion of a controlled subject.
According to SFPD Assistant Police Chief Nick Cook, the suspect was also wanted for questioning regarding an aggravated assault that happened Sunday where the victim received a gunshot wound to the head. Police have not shared any further details about the shooting Sunday night…
