(Sioux Falls, SD) — The east side of Sioux Falls is in recovery mode after sudden flash floods hit hard in the middle of the week. Some neighborhoods got over four inches of rain in just a few hours, catching many off guard and flooding basements. Cleanup crews like INTEK were out in full force Thursday, drying floors and repairing water damage. INTEK says many homes weren’t prepared for that much rain so quickly.
