SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – On Wednesday night at a jam-packed city council meeting, Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken made it clear that the actions of Governor Larry Rhoden to establish Operation: Prairie Thunder are out of his hands.
Hundreds of people filled up Carnegie Hall to the point there were dozens of people in overflow and even more people were holding up signs outside of the building. The group called on the city to implement home rule and stop the actions of Governor Rhoden, who has set up a campaign to work with ICE over the next five months at least.
