Thieves Target Vehicles At Local Gyms In Sioux Falls

Unfortunately, we now live in a society where you can’t even make a quick dash inside a convenience store to pay for gas or grab a soda without running the risk of some jackwad turning your car into their personal grab-and-go boutique.

And don’t even think about leaving your car unlocked outside a gas station, store, or even in front of your home. Do something like that, and you might as well post a neon sign on the windshield that says “Welcome, Thieves! Help Yourself, Inventory Changes Daily!”

Car theft has become a full-blown epidemic in many cities throughout the country, and it’s once again reared its ugly head in the Sioux Empire.

Dakota News Now is reporting that a string of car break-ins occurred outside two different gyms in Sioux Falls on Thursday, August 14.

While you were busy lifting weights inside, some jackwad outside was busy lifting wallets.

Police reports state that in each case, car windows were smashed, and various things like purses, backpacks, and other items of value were taken…
