SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — In an effort to limit speed racing and dangerous driving behaviors in the city, Sioux Falls police have been conducting extra saturation patrols.

According to SFPD Sgt. Joel Dalton, other agencies assisted police in the patrol, including the Lincoln and Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Offices, the Minnehaha Reserves and the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
“Law enforcement focused on racing and exhibition driving cases,” Dalton said at Friday’s police briefing.
The final total numbers this year for the saturation patrol resulted in 1,413 citations issued, 153 cases and arrests made and over 912 total hours were put into the investigation by officers, according to Dalton…
