SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Entertainment tax growth for the city of Sioux Falls is down for the year.
For 2025, growth is down -2.1% compared to 5.1% last year.
“It’s been a weaker year in terms of concerts and events,” city finance director Shawn Pritchett said at the weekly city council informational meeting Tuesday. Councilors asked the reason behind the decline.
