SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – Officials are investigating two stabbings at the South Dakota State Penitentiary, according to the office of South Dakota’s Attorney General.
Victim: ‘Tree has more protections than I do’
According to a spokesman with the AG’s office, the Division of Criminal Investigations and the Department of Corrections Office of the Inspector General are investigating two stabbings that took place since the weekend.
“The investigations are ongoing at this time,” Tony Mangan, a spokesman for the AG’s office said in an email to KELOLAND News.
