SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — We are 50 days away from the U-S Olympic trials for curling right here in Sioux Falls.
The best men’s and women’s curling teams as well as wheelchair mixed doubles teams will hit the floor at the PREMIER Center in mid-November for a chance to qualify for the Olympics and Paralympics.
“The stakes are really high,” USA Curling CEO Dean Gemmell said. “You win the Olympic Trials, your Olympic dream continues. If you lose at the Olympic trials, that’s the end. So, for athletes every four years, this is what they’re really building to.”…
