South Dakota cities advocate for opioid settlement funds

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Sioux Falls and Rapid City are hoping to secure a significant portion of settlement money the state received from pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies, including CVS, Walgreens, and Purdue.

But the Department of Social Services and the Attorney General are at odds over how settlement funds are being distributed.
