Emery woman indicted for grand theft from business

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – An Emery woman has been indicted on one count of Grand Theft for stealing between $100,000 and $500,000 from her employer, a Sioux Falls-based construction business.

On October 8, 45-year-old Paula Dockendorf was indicted by a Lincoln County Grand Jury, facing a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison. She’s scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

The alleged theft happened between December 1, 2023 and November 1, 2024, according to court documents.
