SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A man from Vermillion is dead after a car versus pickup crash that occurred in Union County Thursday afternoon.
Sioux Falls Police: $181k lost in scam
According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, the 58-year-old driver was traveling north on Interstate 29 near mile marker 18 when his car left the road, crossed the median and went into the south lane. His car struck the rear of a pickup, and both cars ended up in the western ditch.
The driver of the car was taken to a Sioux City hospital, where he died from his injuries. The driver of the pickup was treated at the scene and released.
The use of seatbelts by the pickup driver and the car driver is under investigation…
