South Dakotan accused of stabbing a man, stealing multiple vehicles

YANKTON, S.D. (KTIV) – One man was sent to the hospital, and three vehicles were stolen in Southeast South Dakota earlier this month. The man accused of these crimes is now pleading not guilty to his charges.

Court documents show 28-year-old Conner Hanson, from Brookings, South Dakota, is facing several charges in Yankton and Minnehaha Counties. They stem from a stabbing and several vehicle thefts, all reported back on Monday, Oct. 20.

Stabbing in Sioux Falls sends one to the hospital

This case began in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, after local authorities got a call about a stabbing. According to court documents, officers were sent to a Sioux Falls neighborhood where they found a man with multiple stab wounds.

The victim told Sioux Falls Police that he was driving his Ford pickup, with Hanson in the passenger seat, when Hanson yelled at him to get out. According to the victim, he knew Hanson previously and had been driving him to various places in the area…
