SFPD puts up signs warning of crypto ATM scams

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – With cryptocurrency scams on the rise nationwide, the Sioux Falls Police Department’s Fraud Division has been taking steps to try and keep the public informed about scams.

“Year after year, it’s become quite known that crypto scams are becoming more prevalent. That’s both nationally and locally, unfortunately,” said Sergeant Jake Harris with the SFPD Property Crime and Fraud Division.
