SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Faith Temple Food Giveaway still has plenty of potatoes to distribute from last week.

Pastor Jeff Hayes would like to get other churches and organizations involved in getting the potatoes to people in need. Hayes says when he was offered five semi trucks full of potatoes valued at more than $150,000, he could not turn it down. Now he’s hoping to share the abundance with others.
“I’m encouraging pastors and churches to come out or call me on my cell phone even, and we will load them up like we did for the Rosebud and the Yankton Sioux and Baltic ad Mitchell, we’d like to do it most likely on Tuesday morning and people can come with pick ups and we will fill the back end of their pick up with potatoes,” Hayes said.
Hayes says people can also call the Faith Temple Church to make arrangements to help distribute the bounty of potatoes…
