SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Individuals, families and church groups gathered outside of the Faith Temple Food Giveaway, ready to fill their cars. While some people are here to get potatoes for themselves or family members, others are coming to help share the food.
“I’ll let my congregation know,” said Ivan Yoder, the pastor at Bible Baptist Church in Brookings. “They’ll come and take what they want. And then I’ve got some other folks that actually are losing some of their SNAP benefits and different things. And so, I’ll be able to be a blessing to them.”
