Endangered missing woman; Shelter in-place; Warm day

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Here’s a look at this morning’s top stories for your KELOLAND On the Go.

The Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to be on the lookout for an endangered missing 22-year-old. According to the Minnesota Crime Alert Network, Ruth Melendez-Sanchez was last seen yesterday in Woodstock, Minnesota. She is believed to be headed to the Worthington area.

Washington High School was reportedly placed under a shelter-in-place order Thursday afternoon following an alleged accidental discharge of a firearm on 6th Street, which would have been outside and away from the school. Students were under a shelter-in-place for at least 30 minutes.
