The Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to be on the lookout for an endangered missing 22-year-old. According to the Minnesota Crime Alert Network, Ruth Melendez-Sanchez was last seen yesterday in Woodstock, Minnesota. She is believed to be headed to the Worthington area.

Washington High School was reportedly placed under a shelter-in-place order Thursday afternoon following an alleged accidental discharge of a firearm on 6th Street, which would have been outside and away from the school. Students were under a shelter-in-place for at least 30 minutes.

There’s something new for young scientists to check out inside the Washington Pavilion beginning this weekend. It’s called “Space Explorers: Mission Infinity.” The new space is two years in the making and part of a collaboration between the Pavilion, MarketBeat, Dakota State University, and the city of Sioux Falls. A total of $1.3 million was invested.
