Team Casper wins US Curling Olympic Trials in SF

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The U.S. men’s curling team Olympic trails came to a close Sunday night with Team Casper ending Team Shuster’s dynasty in a winner-take-all third game.

Team Casper advances heads to Canada for a competition next month as it moves close to the Olympics. The team was impressed by the turnout of fans at the Premier Center throughout the week.

“Definitely the nicest arena I’ve ever played in,” Team Casper skip Danny Casper said. “There’s a lot of fans. I didn’t really know what to expect in terms of how many people would show up. But a lot of people did. I was pleasantly surprised.”…
