Staff at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society say that being in the shelter has not been easy for Kayden. He is “starting to struggle.” Almost like Kayden is losing hope.
The Sioux Falls Area Humane Society shared Kayden’s story in a heartbreaking Facebook post. Yes, Kayden might get a little too excited at times because of his personality. He really does love people.
I can get TOO excited sometimes. Sometimes I pull a little too hard. But once we’re out there, the world feels calmer. Once things quiet down… I’m different. Softer. Sweeter. Steady. When I’m with you, I check in. I take treats gently. I want to feel close. I just need someone to look past that first burst of energy And see the good boy underneath The one who’s been waiting far too long For a place to finally call home.
Since life at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society hasn’t been easy for Kayden, he is currently in the care of a foster family. All he is looking for is someone to take a chance on him and not pass him by…
