One occupant has died after a car crashed Nov. 22 into the NWS Forecast Office north of the airport, the Sioux Falls Police Department announced Nov. 24.
The 17-year-old female who died was one of four occupants in a Nissan SUV that drove through an intersection at about 2 a.m. at North Minnesota Avenue and Benson Road.
According to previous reporting, Sioux Falls Police Department spokesperson Aaron Benson said the driver “failed to negotiate” the T-intersection and was airborne for more than 175 feet, coming to rest inside the east end of the NWS building…
