SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – It was an active day in KELOLAND yesterday with widespread strong wind gusts and accumulating snowfall. Now that the system has moved out, we are left with more winter-like temperatures.
This is going to help preserve that fresh blanket of snow just in time for Thanksgiving.
Aberdeen picked up just over 5 inches and it could actually be their first Thanksgiving in several years with at least 2 inches of snow on the ground. The last time they had at least 2 inches for the holiday was in 2014.
