Hull, Iowa — A food processing company with facilities in Hull and Sioux Center is moving its business to Sioux Falls.
Formosa Food in Hull has its roots back to 1952 on the streets of Taiwan. Today the company is run by the Shih family for the third generation. Heather Shih, Co-owner of Formosa Food, reflects on how her family started the operation in Hull.
Formosa currently has a processing facility in Hull and a kill facility in Sioux Center. While Heather Shih believes these facilities have served their purposes well, they are relocating to a new facility in Sioux Falls in order to better meet the growing demand…
