SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A California man has been charged with vehicular homicide after a single-car crash early Friday morning that killed one man from Kyle, South Dakota.
Suspect in Oglala shooting apprehended
According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, Nicholas Folz, 37, was driving south on Bombing Range Road near Sheep Mountain Road. The car left the road and turned several times. Thomas Barlese, 25, was partially thrown from the car and died at the scene. Folz received serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Folz has also been charged with vehicular homicide and driving under the influence. Barlese was not wearing a seatbelt. Folz’s use of a seatbelt is under investigation…
