Sioux Falls hospital reports alarming number of serious ATV sledding injuries

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — For kids, the snow can mean a lot of fun, snowball fights, building snowmen, and sledding.

But a Sioux Falls Doctor says when you add an ATV to the fun, things can quickly become dangerous. Dr Jon Ryckman is a pediatric surgeon at the Sanford Children’s Hospital. In the past few weeks, he’s helped save kids injured in accidents involving sleds pulled by ATVs.
