Burst pipe floods Children’s Home Shelter for Family Safety

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Friday was a difficult day for the Children’s Home Society of South Dakota’s Shelter for Family Safety. Leaders said a sprinkler pipe burst Friday morning, causing flooding in parts of the building.

Roughly two and a half inches of water covered a case-manager hallway and even went into their basement. Workers were left adapting to the situation to complete job functions and scrambling to replace what was lost before the holidays.
