Sioux Falls cancer patient is the victim of fraud

Sioux Falls, SD (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls police say a 66-year-old local man is the victim of an online fraud that has cost him 67-thousand dollars. The victim has cancer and was in contact with a woman on a messaging app. Police Information Officer, Sgt. Aaron Benson says the woman told the victim he would be receiving a credit card loaded with three million dollars to help him with his medical expenses.
