I shipped off my final box of stuff to my family in Montana yesterday (Monday, Dec. 15). When the nice gentleman asked me what was in the box and I told him there were a lot of paper plates, napkins, and gift bags, he gave me a somewhat wry smile.
I said that I knew they had those things in Montana, too, but they wouldn’t be the same. He continued to give me that kind smile that let me know I was more than likely a big dope. Especially when he gave me the price total for my box of “stuff”.

Nevertheless, they’ll be getting the box before Christmas. Shipping deadlines are looming large this week across the country.
