SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The City of Sioux Falls will open up two Christmas tree drop-off sites later this week.
In a news release from the City of Sioux Falls, the sites will be open from Friday, Dec. 26, to Sunday, Jan. 4. The sites will be available to Sioux Falls residents and those in Lake, Lincoln, McCook, Minnehaha and Turner counties. The sites will not be available to businesses, farms, nonprofits, churches, schools, or government buildings.

The first location is 1015 E. Chambers St. just off North Cliff Avenue and west of the Household Hazardous Waste Facility. The second location is on North Lyon Boulevard, south of the fairgrounds near West 12th Street.
Artificial, flocked, or fake trees, plastic bags, stumps, rubble and garbage are not accepted at the drop-off sites. All lights, ornaments and decorations must be removed prior to drop-off…
