Oldham-Ramona-Rutland district vote heads for recount

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Rural Students Real Opportunity’s (RSRO),  an organization that brought the petition for the reorganization vote for the Oldham-Ramona-Rutland School District, has filed a memorandum to the recount board stating that they object to the recount board counting the five provisional ballots.

RSRO also stated that they have successfully submitted a petition requesting a recount of the December 16 vote. There are no details as of now for when that recount will be held.

An election recount is a repeat tabulation of votes cast in an election that is used to determine the correctness of an initial count.
