Rosie’s Cafe open again under new owners

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – A beloved restaurant in northwest Sioux Falls is serving food once again. Rosie’s Cafe held a grand opening Tuesday under its new owners.

At Rosie’s Cafe along West Madison Street, you’ll find the same yellow sign that greeted people for over 40 years now greeting people once again. After the original owners closed the cafe in May and put it up for sale, two men familiar with the Sioux Falls food industry decided to take a chance on the beloved staple.

“We’ve always wanted to kind of do something together and the timing just seemed right,” owner Tom Hinrichs said.
