LARCHWOOD—A 29-year-old Sioux Falls, SD, man was arrested Friday, Dec. 19, on a charge of domestic abuse assault with intent to inflict serious injury.
The arrest of Nicholas Jon Van Wyhe stemmed the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office being called to Grand Falls Cason and Golf Resort at about 7:15 a.m. Dec. 19 for a report of a domestic assault.
Upon arrival, the victim was in the hotel hallway with a visible injury to her left eye. There was significant swelling above the eye with bruising beginning above and under the eyes.
