SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – On New Year’s Eve at 8:39 a.m., the Rapid City Police Department responded to a bomb threat at the Rapid City Regional Airport.
The threat was received by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and law enforcement, including the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office.
Law enforcement, airport personnel, and TSA investigated the threat, and determined it was not credible.
