The Brule County Sheriff’s Office is alerting the public of a missing 39-year-old Pukwana, SD man. According to a post by the Brule County Sheriff’s Office, Ryan Grimm was last seen on Saturday morning (Jan. 3). He left in a 2016 Blue Honda Civic without a phone, money, or identification.

Almost 3,000 Ukrainians have made their home in South Dakota. Most live in Sioux Falls and Rapid City. Many of them came after Russia attacked Ukraine, locking the two countries into a war. Senate Majority Leader John Thune says he hopes the war in Ukraine can be resolved soon. He also says it is one of the many international issues he stays involved in as the Majority Leader of the Senate.

Dells Theatre owner Brian Anderson looked at every option available to replace the theater’s current projector. When he had tried every other option, the community stepped up. And now, around five months later, the theater has collected $30,000 which is enough to put a down payment on the projector and place the order.
