ROCK RAPIDS—A 38-year-old Rock Valley man was arrested early Saturday morning, Dec. 27, in Rock Rapids on a charge of second-offense domestic abuse assault.
The arrest of Jason Erick Van Veldhuizen stemmed from a 911 hang-up call about 12:10 a.m. that day that plotted near the intersection of Ninth Avenue and Tama Street in Rock Rapids, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
