Two teenagers are accused of attempted murder in the wake of a shooting at a Sioux Falls business between Interstate 29 and the Big Sioux River on the west side of the city. Per the Sioux Falls Police Department, a 32-year-old victim was found in the area of the 4200 block of West 12th Street early Sunday morning; court papers identify the location of the shooting as a casino.

A Tea family’s lives were changed on New Year’s Eve after their house caught on fire. Now, less than a week after the fire, the community has stepped up for the Hastings family. And as they move forward and rebuild their lives, Hastings says he is grateful for those who have lent a hand this past week.

The State Theatre is celebrating a century in Sioux Falls in 2026. The historic venue is marking the occasion with a year-long film series. Weiland says the series will feature films from the 1920s through modern day. The State100 film series will make its debut on Thursday with the 1927 film Wings.
