LARCHWOOD—Two Sioux City residents were arrested following a traffic stop about 8:50 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, near Larchwood.
The arrest of 27-year-old Yoni Brallan Duenas and 25-year-old Destanie Adele Archer stemmed from the stop of a 2016 Mazda 6 for a traffic violation on Highway 9, about a mile northwest of Larchwood, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
The odor of marijuana was detected coming from the vehicle, and Duenas, the driver, exhibited signs of impairment and admitted to using narcotics and having narcotics and a firearm in the car, according to the incident report…
