SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – A Mitchell woman died Monday from injuries she sustained in a Saturday morning hit-and-run crash near Humboldt.
According to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety, at 2:13 a.m. Saturday, the driver of a Chevy SUV was traveling eastbound on Interstate when she tried pulling off on the side of the road.

At the same time, the SUV was struck by an eastbound semi pulling a trailer. The truck continued driving after the crash and has yet to be located. An investigation into who was driving the semi truck is ongoing.
