UPDATE: Missing Elderly man found

An elderly man has gone missing from Crawfordsville Elderly. According to a press release on Facebook, Richard Lawrence Sr., age 61, went missing around 1 p.m. on January 6. He was last seen wearing a black coat and jeans. He is 5’10” with a slim build and curly brown hair.

A 40-year-old man was found with a stab wound on his face at a gas station near 10th Street and Cliff Avenue. A heavy police presence was spotted at the intersection. According to police spokesman Aaron Benson, a suspect is yet to be arrested. The stabbing did not happen at the gas station. Benson said in a statement to KELOLAND News that police are working to determine the location where it happened.
