ROCK RAPIDS—One of the two men who reportedly rampaged through the Lyon County Courthouse in December faces another charge after throwing a cup of urine at a corrections officer.
The additional charge against 18-year-old Luciano Eliseo Sanchez of Denver, CO, stemmed from an incident about 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, in the Lyon County Jail in Rock Rapids.
The corrections officer was in the jail’s day room tending to another inmate when he thought he heard a door “pop” but did not think it was Sanchez’s door as his door was supposed to be secure, according to the incident report…
